After listening to
Tatianna, take notes on what she says and write them up in 175 words
Tatianna started her first year studying law in Slovakia. She has continued studying it at Bedfordshire University since 2005. She has finished it now and will start her legal practice
in London.
She found the course well
structured because it had a range of practical activities, in addition to the usual academic matter. As an
example she referred lectures, seminars and extra-curricular options, like
practices in defending or arguing in
a real case or in advising real
clients. She can find all relevant information that she need on the University
system.
She will stay in wherever Commonwealth
country principally because the legal system in her country is totally
different. If she wants to work in Slovakia, she will need to qualify again.
Tatianna worked in England for a
year before she went to study, so there were no surprises at University. Classes are prepared for international people, and there
are lots of Slovakian students., so she
felt at home.
The University is conveniently
located in the centre of town, and there are different activities to help students socialise each other.
